They were just waiting for Pearce to get from Australia with it belt.
So far the reviews of the match have been good.DKM

Posted November 10th, 2012 09:04 AM IPSo let me get this straight,
The NWA originally had him win the title in a weak way now he's had a double count out against Wayne thus making him look even weaker and dare I say it, making Wayne look dumb?
Why not feed guys to Kahagas and make him look like a bad ass? Why rush the Wayne/Kahagas match. Kahagas could of wrecked a local Texan in about 5 minutes and made a challenge for Wayne next time if they were so hell bent on it.
Also another issue with the NWA in general. Did we ever hear about that Raven/Kahagas title match? If it had been me in charge I'd of had the match on the NWA Website (Or highlights) showing my top guy going against a cult legend like Raven (And obviously winning)

Posted November 10th, 2012 10:40 AM IPThere never was a Raven & Kahagas match scheduled. Raven and Kahagas were both scheduled for NWA Top Rope but not against each other. Kahagas was not able to make it to Texas so he missed the show.
I have no problem with the match last night or the result. It's a personal opinion, but I hated it when after Pearce won the title the first time and then they never matched him up against Albright or after the four way and nothing was done with Prophet and Tempers.DKM

Posted December 4th, 2012 07:26 AM IP#1 The November/December are very lean months for Indy Wrestling. Smaller promotions either run extremely lean shows or none at all. The fact that he defended the title 3 times in November is actually pretty good. If the rumors are true, his World Championship victory was somewhat of a surprise.
#2 Historically, each World Champion in the past 5 or so years has had a slow start. Evidently, Kahagas had defended the championship at least once a week since he's had it. I'm not saying that we should all be blown away, but that's pretty impressive for a first reign World Champion.

Posted December 9th, 2012 01:27 PM IPKahagas and Benny Benitez had a pretty good match. Benny is a big guy, but he can move and he works well. Probably the reason he's the ToT Heavyweight Champ. Here's the Match though.

Posted December 10th, 2012 05:39 AM IPIt's good Corino is getting a shot, hopefully the NWA puts the belt on him.
Why? Because the ROH contract prevents him from wrestling on all those DVD's and Television Shows the NWA has?
Magnus will tell you more than what I can tell.
Besides, I don't like another Champions who are still contracted to another Fed. I don't want to see another debacle when the NWA cannot booked its own World Champion on its supposedly biggest show because The Champ are booked as a filler in another fed where he obliged by contract.

Posted December 31st, 2012 04:26 AM IPFrom Kahagas FB :
The NWA World Heavyweight Title Returns To The Republica of Dominicana After More Than 3 Decades. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tokyo Monster Kahagas Comes To Dominican Wrestling Entertainment: March 2 & 3 Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Okay. This going to be a good move. More Title defense outside of Texas and one international defense.
