Actually I don't, I wasn't with the group that found the tree formation. I'd like to see it too though!

Thanks for the reply, Rachel, and I do hope someone will post the photos!

Couldn't download the photo but here is a example from this area that we found in 08 and 09. http://www.flickr.com/photos/34227160@N06/
the rootball of these trees are found in the air and these 3 strutures where found within a 5 mile radius in different spots. One could say this was done by nature, but in 3 different spots? What are the odds?

Wow, those are interesting, and they confirm what I've observed of large trees thrust between other trees. (See my thread under Images. The large X in my first picture is constructed that way, and I've seen a couple of smaller examples.) Are these structures similar to the new one you found? In your pictures, what do you make of the outlined structure on the ground under the branches of a tree? That also looks interesting. Do these trees point to anything that looks significant?

Not sure if they point to anything significant but you never know.

Wow. Thanks for the detailed notes. It sounds like we missed out on a great expedition. Good to hear that the weather only hindered a little. I'll have to find those sounds and listen to them now.
