Joee, don't worry about the thylacine, before I moved up to the tropics 8years ago, I lived in tasmania for 20years. the thylacine is still out there in the wilds of tasmania, sightings still occur, a ranger in the 1980s had a clear sighting of one, so have many people living on the west coast of the island. they, much like the bigfoot are largely nocturnal and elusive to man...what i did not know till i moved up here to north queensland is that they were common in various places on the mainland australia, up here in the rainforests..theory is that aborigines wiped them out on the mainland around 5000-6000years ago due to improvement in spear design eg more accuracy and distance..BUT...spears are useless in the dense rainforests of tropical north qld...i have collected over 30sightings from loggers, hunters and people seeing them cross the road at night etc...plus the aborigines whom I work with as part of my job speak of them as still being round. One of the local national parks, 4 of the rangers tell me that they are convinced they are still around, there have been reports of them 50km up the road in the last few months..there are pretty well much no predators for them to compete with, dingoes leave them alone....capturing one or finding proof is as hard as finding sasquatch...so as you know we have the'yowie' here which is pretty well much the same animal as the sasquatch...hundreds of sightings over the years. a good book was written on them last year, with a forward by Loren Coleman....anyway, nice of you to ask about the thylacine...its rainforest habitat though diminished still covers alot of area up north here...the yowie or hairy man shares the rainforest with him, have collected many sightings of it as well....cheers rod for what its worth |

In the third pic...I have seen my 4 yr old girl do this. While playing she puts her head down on the ground so that she has it almost between her legs. She is looking up at her belly, she is bent in half(like the juvee)her arms in front and she simply falls forward. It's kind of like a summer sault. I don't know for sure but it seems like the creature is just goofing off. It's not how often you get knocked down that speaks of your character; it's how often you get back up. |

Awesome stuff!
The object is for sure something that resembles a young BF; however, unless we capture a live one and put it in a zoo, science and people will never accept BF to be real.
I know people will rip this image and say: "no head seen"... no BF...."maybe a chimp".....no BF..... "were are the images snapped when it walked into the frame".... no BF.
These are the common questions we hear over and over. It becomes so frustrating!
I think it is truly matching the descriptions of young BFs.
Did his motion camera get the initial shots snapped as the creature walked into the sensor field?
I know my camera always trips the first shot as soon as something enters the frame and frames two and three are often an animal looking around at the bait or just the rear as it passes through. Ron |

Cool pics, but I'm quite curious.
The first pic shows two bears, one appearantly positioned at some king of salt lick or something along those lines.
The second pic, the cubs are no longer there. Which is to be expected after what seems to be a 28 minute difference between pics. What raises my curiosity is, what is now leaning on the salt lick or bait?
Not to seem negative in any way, but it almost looks like a backpack of some kind. And, where did this item come from?
Also, if you will notice, the salt lick item (or what ever it is) has been moved to the left from pic #1 to pic #2.

It appears to be the base for the salt block, have had livestock all my life I've seen a million of them. " Some wonder if it is, others study how it is".

Thanks for the info on the salt lick. I stand corrected.
Didn't mean to sound negative.
I do see what the container is. It appears to be the base for the salt lick. And, also it just dawned on me that the bear cubs could have moved it. Positioning it in this manner.
Thanks guys.
PS - I'm not a skeptic. Have felt that there is something out there for the past 40+ years of my life. |

Mr.lamb, did she care to speculate on what type of primate? Please read some of what kate1980 has to say about the pics.I am curious if your friend agrees.
Jonathan820, I consider rkennedy to be one of the top authorities on BF behavior. And if he has physical evidence he will share it when the time is right.
Also. Could our young BF have tasted that salt and surprised by the taste? Maybe he was just playing around and kicked it over. I and another person on here thought the one photo looked like the creature was trying to do a somersault.
Just speculating. " Some wonder if it is, others study how it is".

I would sure like to know what RKennedy has to say about these photos too.....
My FIRST though when I saw them was GOTTEM! There is a little Bigfoot!
I also think that BF are more like Humans than other animals in the sense that, Humans all look different from one to the other, somie fat, some skinny etc....
Dear and bear and many others grow up and look almost EXACTLY the same! behappy

Tom-- could you be a little more specific than NW PA for the location, such as the county? Are these photos the reason behind the location of the NW PA expedition next year? Western PA BFRO

I think the original estimate may have been a little tall. Would someone who is good at this, give the salt block an estimated value of 14". We could arrive ( in comparison of his buddy)to an approx. height of the cub near the tree.
Tell us what you come up with. " Some wonder if it is, others study how it is".

love the true believers and the skeptics battling it out....bottom line is if this photo was taken in africa, we all would say that it is a monkey/ape of some sort, none of us would say hey that a juvenile bigfoot...remember this is pro bigfoot site, even though many of us try to keep the skeptics hat on our first thought is BIGFOOT and then shape our doubts and questions/thoughts around it...WE WANT IT TO BE A BIGFOOT.........PLEASE LET IT BE ONE....PLEASE...but in the end it is a good couple of photos, but not good enough...we are back to where we started ....we are left with the mystery still intact...except for those who claim to have seen one, they wander a different plane from us......rod for what its worth |

This has been a good discussion and I think most people are anxious and waiting to hear Dr. Meldrums report. Then we can say if it's good enough...or not.

| Very interesting photos, it could be a primate, most definitely. I lean towards these photos being of a primate because of the lack of hair in the armpit area, it looks like the arm pit of a chimpanzee. I would like to see the rest of the photos, these may be the real thing. |

I look at it this way.........I BELIEVE, and THERE is more PROOF(Jacob's photos)...........I will forever say it is REAL.
I dont believe anyone will ever be able to PROVE there is NO BIGFOOT!
When the scientific proof is found, I can say "I told you so"! I dont just want to believe, I DO! Never have seen one in person, but I have never seen GOD either and I truly believe in HIM! I have felt God and if I were to spend enough time in the woods in the right places, I will probably end up feeling the presence of BF too.
BTW- BF is another of God's Creatures; wether it be Cane or not, dont know. behappy

Rod I appreciate you playing Devil's advocate. Keeps us all from running WAY too far with the bf ball on this one. I think it is a juvee bf, but I will reserve my 100 percent sure until I hear what DR. Meldrum has to say. I must also point out Rod that you are correct...if the photo's came from Africa I would tend to think monkey first; but they did not come from Africa. They came from a place not too far from where I live and other than a zoo you will not find any monkey's in these parts! It's not how often you get knocked down that speaks of your character; it's how often you get back up. |

Rod - That's a topic being discussed in RKennedy's thread:
What do you think BF is? Check it out, lots of great ideas.
