If you let your mind play tricks on you you can make out a bear in pic three but there is no way to do it with pic 2. Look at pic 1 and 3 right next to one another. The eye shine is all wrong for it to be a bear when compared to the other two bears. This is not a bear. I have seen and killed bears in pennsylvania and this by no stretch of the imagination is a bear. I have pics of a manged bear from a trail cam when i find them I will post them for everyone to see. This is most definately not a bear. Also on pic 3 look at the two limbs closest to the camera, If this was a bear would they not be similar in length? They are obviously not. If I had to guess this is most definately a squatch. I know what I saw.......

Beenthere,
Those are some fair points, but I don't think that those pictures are conclusive in any way. They are interesting but inconclusive. I have nothing invested in the non-existance of BF and I have little doubt that BF is alive and well running around in the woods. |

To me pic three looks just like a bear looking straight at the cam and swiping the ground with its right front leg. Sorry thats what I see, like I said I hope I am wrong. And the side by side makes me think pic 2 is bear also. An older, large framed bear, but very skinny. RICK R. |

| I'm Buck from Pa. I have personal interests in this subject, I think the torso is to short and the legs are wrong for it to be a bear and when its bent over you would see its nose. |

I Don't know for sure what it is,but I know what it isn't and it isn't a bear!! It's not how often you get knocked down that speaks of your character; it's how often you get back up. |

Look at the difference in the length of the neck. How can that be a bear? Eric Spinner

Wvslick has nailed on the head...its a bear looking at the camera, 2nd pic could easily be bear licking salt and as for eye shine not being as bright as the cub photo, reason could well be bear looked up split second after flash, it blinked, are far more likely scenarios than a half starved juvenie bigfoot in a yoga pose that would make sri srinath pappadum proud... i to would love it to be one but it aint..interestingly jonathan says that the photos are posted all over the net with the vast majority saying its a bear...are we 'maybe' abit tilted the other way, say abit biased even... in what we want to find in these photos...rod for what its worth |

I still do not see what you are talking about.
Using the camera as the 6:00 postion and the tree as the 12:00 position, what ever it is, its moving towards the 10:00 position.
Or 9:30 position.

johnathan, in pic 3 there are 2 eye shines looking at camera, not as bright as the cubs photo, but quite clear, once you see that it sort opens up..you see the ears, snout, right front leg is stretched out abit, left front looks turned in but it is probably just shadow from camera flash, even spine ridge...i am convinced and i wish i wasn't....hey wvslick you see what i see can you show the pic 3 again, i dont know how to do it, me and computers get on like you guys and iraq at the moment.... for what its worth |

whsu, that aint no tassie devil.....bucker, i'll try again for you mate...the photo which most believe shows a juvenile bigfoot with its bony butt in the air, you know the one with it bent over...ok......ignore that impression, that is what is tripping people up...now eyes, 2 of em, looking at camera, there is eye shine....2 ears, ear on left slightly different angle due to flicking it or hearing something to its right..whatever....the 2 bony butts bones are left shoulder and probably left hip....snout you see once you make out ears, eyes etc....right front leg is extended out, left front normal but it looks like paw turned in....nah, just shadow from flash.....how am i doin bucker......we have koala bears here, huge maneaters, rip you to bits, grow 5-6 feet in length, make your grizzlies look like yogi bear mate.... for what its worth |

Just for grins and giggles, point out the eye shine.
Seriously, I do not see it.
I'm in no way trying to bash anyone.
But, for the life of me, I do not see eye shine.

I see no eye shine what so ever, if it was indeed true eye shine it would stick out like a sore thumb, just as the first pic did with the bear cubs. Even if it was blinking or had its eyes half shut, you'd still see half shut eye shine, theres just no way around that.
If it is a bear, then he has one serious messed up front leg, theres no way that is a shadow, if it is a shadow, tell me where the rest of his paw is...?

I wonder if they looked for/found tracks? Perhaps the ground was too hard for impressions to be made. Anyone else bring this up?
The idea that pic 3 is a bear head on is an illusion in my opinion . The "eyes" are just some natural anomaly in the hair. And the left front leg's foot would be turned 90 degrees to the right. |

I think that you might be the first to bring it up. Not really sure. Good point.
As for the 3rd pic, I still do not see any eyes nor a head that many have stated. (not saying that you do).
Its a shadow that was cast over a rock. If everyone would look at pic 2 versus pic 3. We would see that it is the same rock located at the base of the tree. |

I SEE IT! I SEE IT!
It was there staring me in the face this whole time.
Just kidding, mean no harm.
I'll delete it promptly. Sorry BFRO, been at this since yesterday with very little sleep. Hope it does not yank your chain or anyone else's.
BF does not obsess me, but this thread does.
For the life of me, I still can not see a bear.
Also, what you are calling eye glare in the location that you are speaking about, is nothing other than flash glare caused by the camera against the fur/hair/what ever you want to call it.
I'm blitzed, getting out of here. Need to get back to reading my Holy Bible.
Lord bless all. I'll check in once in a while.
Later! |

| If you have the pictures aligned and flip back and forth you can see impressions in the ground from the steps it takes to get into the bent over position. The right ear you see is actually not even part of the body but something behind the tree. |
