Looks like a young bear to me, this just bolsters the theory of a young bear following the mother and her new cubs. RICK R. |

Hey WVSLICK you know that they have corrective lense for hyperopia. Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson |

Something is SERIOUSLY WRONG with this picture!! Posted on November 15th? Taken in northwestern Pennsylvania? When was the picture taken? Was this "new" information passed on right after it was taken? ... or is really "old" information, just now being passed on?
My point is... Why are the leaves all green? This photo was taken in the summer, not November! Are we being duped? Ogullible1 |

Paul - I think you need to go to the bfro.net home page and read the Jacobs Photo page. It explains when, where and how. Then come back and wade though the zillion posts (ok, you can skip some of them). All your questions will be answered.

What time of year are we looking at here? NOT November!!
When do deer hunters put out salt licks and scent lures with motion sensor cameras ... and still allow time for a return investigation while the leaves are still green? August? September? I suppose leaves changed late this year, so early October? Ogullible1 |

Paul
I live in western PA and it seems like the leaves have changed colors later this year. A lot later, just my opinion from what I have seen around me here. |

I know the leaves in central NC are changing a full month later than normal. We don't know everything.

Prose528, I live up here near the land of "Jake" we had green leaves as late as last week on some of the trees. The bush outside of my front window is still green and hasn't losts it's leaves yet. It's been a weird fall for us. The trees didn't start to turn until after Halloween. Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Emerson |

It may not matter I just like to know for myself. |

the other websites are thoroughly trashing BFRO...
saying that most of their contributors
think it's a bear.
Also, they are using "my" enhanced photos to attempt to debunk the BFRO'S stance.
Can you say, "Stupid, as well as, lazy"?

Southman,
sour grapes on their part. They are just upset because the Jacobs family didn't contact them!

Hollywood
Just my thoughts on it but maybe since they are so like us maybe it could be anytime. It would be like asking "what time of the year are human babies born?" Know what I mean?
I think they are born any time.

Thanks Dory, that makes sense, especially if we can rely on the DNA evidence from the Monsterquest program. They more be more like us than we ever imagined. Not afraid to believe. |

good morning y'all;
will try to explain my measuring methods. this is with the latest pictures. i will start, and if it has merit you can take it from there. first using the scale on the tree. count down to the hump of the creature. in my count this leaves 3, six inch sections to the end of the scale. "18" " . measure the exact length of trhis portion of scale on your computer pic. extend a line to the right this exact length and it will be 18" . figure the length of the hypotenuse, i think thats what its called, and you will have an exact measurement down the body of the creature. hope that makes sense.

| What a great comparison picture. Wonderful work. This has re-affirmed my belief that we are dealing with photos of a scientifically unknown species. I hope the BFRO is working on setting up more traps within a radius of the original location. I hope they are doing this with minimal impact to the study area. |

in reviewing the new evidence, "the picture by jondpatton dted 11/16/07 10:05" my current estimate of the height of the suspected sasquatch young'un is 4" 7" give or take 1/4 in. peace BB |
