People seem to think it's impossible to capture an image of a Sasquatch. Guys, this is a real animal. It CAN be captured on camera.

It seems pretty insane that some people believe in Bigfoot but at the same time believe one has NEVER been captured on video or in pictures.
They call me Sasquatch.

This morning I was sitting with my Husband who has hunted all his life, he is 51. I pulled up the Jacob photo and asked him what he saw....His comment was thats an ape! I told him the forum and told him folks thought it was a bear.. He said it couldn't be due to the length of the legs and the position its in.

P.S. he doesn't believe in BF but also said it was no bear.
If you build it, they will come!

Well, the limbs and torso certainly look odd for a bear, but has anyone noticed how small the feet are? i would think even a juvenile sasquatch would have bigger feet than that... no pun intended..

This might explain why the feet appear like they do then there is this skeptics that supports it.

I know the photos aren't very clear but still I see a great deal of evidence that points toward a Sasquatch. I see some altered photos and rude skeptics. I see some measurements and proportions that don’t match a bear. I see a head that appears to have a sagittal crest. I see a short torso with long limbs. I see a short neck. I see many different opinions on what is where, I don’t see a tail. I don’t see a bear.

The subject seems to have discussed a bit more than fully.
This thread appears to have a bit of 'baiting' going on.
(yes I know I'm not an admin.. )

You're right there's a reason for the baiting. From the beginning there’s another not so popular Bigfoot organization that has used altered photos and worked diligently to fool the unsuspecting with bear propaganda. They claim to believe in Bigfoot yet pick out illusions from the blurry spotted images and act like they failed some kind of litmus test. They claim this causes embarrassment because they might not hold up to public scrutiny. Oddly enough it wasn’t the general public this time that doubted the evidence but the so called believers. I can’t remember seeing one single piece of evidence that has ever made believers out of the non open minded.

All the controversy has backfired giving the Jacobs Creature more attention and public interest than it normally would have received. For me this isn’t the proof I’m looking for but the evidence doesn’t show a bear. Like a fresh plaster cast it’s definitely worth a look.

There is no possible way to make this statement based solely on the photos in question. You cannot accurately say it's a bear unless you were standing there when the pictures were taken.

This is my problem with some of these attempts at baiting. Most of us who are objective are making statements such as "it's inconclusive". Even those (like me) who feel very strongly that this could not be a bear continue to stand firm that it's inconclusive. When someone comes here stating without question that it is a bear, my immediate reaction is to dismiss those claims since there is no possible way to make them. Not even Mr. Jacob's is qualified to make a claim one way or the other.

My OPINION, however, is that this is no bear. FEKLAAR, if you stated this as your OPINION instead of some sort of fact, we could all enjoy some healthy debate. But when you state it as fact, the only correct response is that you cannot make that determination.

It might be more than one organization that was disturbed. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the hunter refuse to let anyone other than the BFRO use the pictures? The BFRO released the story with the questions about a bear from the start. Then they received record hits on their site. So much in fact that it overloaded the system and was temporarily shut down. The public must have seen more than a bear. That was bound to make the others more than a little envious. I see were this forum alone receives hundreds of visitors per day I’m sure it isn’t by people looking for bears.

Enough. This back and forth is over. Nothing is going to change those who want to see a bear. Let them, evidently they have a reason. But for now this ends.
