throw us a bone (or an outline of a bone), man, i just don't see it
i'm with dksac on the eyeshine business - if an animal is looking down it's head usually follows (down), it wouldn't be facing the camera. bears aren't shifty - eyed like us.

OMG, Just a few days ago Runnah gave up, took his ball and went home.
Now he is back and playing nice with all kinds of pretty pictures.
But does your mommie and daddie know how much time your spending on the computer?
I really liked your doggies.
This is getting so immature. Red |

| See the two light gray patches on the left? You can see two dark slits on the head equal distences apart. You c an make out the dark line inbetween as the top of the muzzle. If you look to the right above the eyes you can see the inside and tip of an ear. |

Its immature because I don't blindy agree with you?
Oh yes fine its BF! Because its such a clear image I don't see how anyone can refute that fact! Infact I can see clearly a giant sign in the background proclaiming that very fact.
I got sick of this place because of knuckleheads like you that already had their minds made up one way and were so stubborn that they refuse to consider another posibility. I try to bring in LOGIC and COMMON SENSE into these discusions but its like trying to argure with a braying jackass with blinders on.

| seriously that's been illustrated before with yellow lines drawn in as well as cubs on the bears back. That would be little cubs as in Feb. for a pic taken sep. 19th. That's not there either. |

Oh mother jokes I didn't realize that this was 5th grade! But that would explain your level of education.
The sign of losing a debate is to resort to name calling and insults.
p.s. I didn't touch that photo I grabbed it from the link posted above. |

| I've said it before an opinion isn't going to change what it is. If that were we could vote on it. Then it would have to be what the winning side wanted. |

We probably could but that'd be like getting gun owners to vote on gun control. What do you think is going to win?

There was no name calling except when you called me a braying jackass. Your getting really mad over a picture debate, now who is in the 5th grade? Something happened to that picture it sure don't show up like that on my screen, just click on image 2 and compare it.

Quote: How does being from PA and being an avid hunter and skinning a bear make anyone a better judge of the Jake Photo? There is more evidence presented to the contrary of this being a bear presented in this thread. Some of our members did extensive work mathematically and photographically to be able to present this evidence. Take a look at the photos presented on page 4 of just a little editing posted by Bucker(form PA). I'm from PA too and I hope if anyone is hunting bear in PA they don't shoot anything that looks Jake 2 or 3 because it isn't a bear and looks nothing like one. |

| Why on earth does the discussion of this photo get people so riled? It's so strange to see people proclaim that this picture is for sure one thing or another and then get nasty over it. He, He...does your momma let you do this or that, are you kidding me? |

| When some one new comes along and sees the thread they have not had the opportunity to debate. A lot of the work that was done isn't here now. If they had that and they read it there might be less debate. I've always had the same position so the convincing work that was done didn't change anything for me I believe we did have some change their mind I'd be willing to bet most won't Its sort of like a two party system. One side believes what it see and the other side sees what it believes. |

| I read the threads over, I have seen the story and it doesn't look like a bear to me. I'm not going to fight over it. “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” Henry Ford. |

I matched the trees erased the bear cub and found out it was a root. Then I found a similar armpit. |

I never thought I'd post another Jacobs photo, but here I am, doing just that!
This is the original enhancement I did.
I'm posting it for purposes of comparison.
Personally, I no longer care what this thing is, or was, or might become....LOL !!!!!

Careful everyone...we don't want to get too overwhelmed and start the name calling from a few months ago. Make a statement, say what you believe, then move on. Each is allowed to have an opinion but don't force yours on others - be respectful.

If you look at the photo posted above by runnah, you can see it is a bear looking away from the camera.
Look at the part that everyone assumes is the head.
At the very bottom of this "head" is the chin or bottm of the jaw.
That bulge on the left side of the head is the ear.
Right below that is the side of the jaw
The top is the back of the neck.
This bear is looking away from the camera.
I try to avoid this thread but it is so frustating trying to get you guys to see. I'm glad a few on here can see and understand.
I understand how bad we want positive proof of a Bigfoot, but this is not it. Anyone from outside the Bigfoot community, looking on here can see that many are grabbing at straws.
This makes all of us Bigfoot buffs look like fools. It is no wonder that the media and science does not take this Bigfoot stuff seriously.
We got a few pictures of a mangy bear that we tout as a genuine juvenile sasquatch when it is only a bear.
There are people from all over the place that deal with bears as part of their job. They see the diseases and understand bear anatomy better than any of us. They say this is a bear. I'm not a big fan of the Pennsylvania Game Commission with their game management practices, but they know a bear when they see it.
I'm sure these pictures made their way all over the country. I can just imagine the jokes from park rangers at Yellowstone and Denali just laughing about how us Bigfoot buffs think this is a young Bigfoot.
Come on guys!
This makes us all look like a bunch of crack pots. We are better than that.
I talk to many friends and they know my interest in BF. I offer many times for them to check out this site. It is interesting and they do check it out.
I am almost embarrased to send them here when guys think pictures of a bear are a BF.
I'm sure there are many out there that are interested in this subject. I'd hate for them to check out this forum and think that we are off our rocker.
I even find myself dissappointed that so many give these photos any merit on here.
Anyway, enough said. I know I didn't make any friends with this outburst, but I had to speak how I feel.
I'm done with this thread!

| If you look at jake one thats a bear folks. That's what they look like. Now when jacobs saw jake 1 he knew that was a bear. He is an experienced hunter and has seen bear before. What he saw in jake 2 and jake 3 didn't look like a bear to him so he contacted BFRO. Now why do you think he did that? |

Windwalker7...
There are those of you that believe it's a bear and there are those of us that believe it's a juvenile sasquatch.
There is no 100% proof that it is a bear, like wise, there is no 100% proof that it is a sasquatch either, but we are all entitled to believe in our own opinions.
Just because you and the others believe it's a mangy bear doesn't make it so. We will never know for certain. I believe... |
