Everyone that sees the Jacobs Creature for the first time will say “what the ____ is that” so how did the PGC draw their conclusion? Did they visit the area to look for evidence and determine what it was? Did they verify if the photo was actually taken in Pennsylvania? Did they display a matching photo comparison with measurements to help show it may be a bear? ….No
While the fear filled public living in this area demanded answers on the identity of this creature they seen in the news, the PGC stopped answering continuous phone calls and went to the press. Looking back through the very first news agency to cover the story the records show this is the original conclusion from the PGC that was copied and mixed up by the associated press and the rest of the news.
Wrong, if they would have observed the time stamps they would have known the bears that visited were only there a short time and the creature showed up much later. Animals from a group that share sleeping areas would also have the mange disease.
If they would have studied the photos closely they would have known that the thing on the ground was definitely not a bear’s head, to draw a conclusion from that has given them an incorrect answer.
What they did was make a guess in the direction they wanted the story to go. This shows that it was more of a big headache for them than any other reason and it needed to come to an end immediately.

It wasn’t clear to the Pennsylvania Game Commission that we have a First Amendment and that it now protects the press from all government, whether local, state or federal. What’s clear is the whole thing was just a quick Cover-Up.

It doesn’t get any better than this the Pennsylvania Game Commission has made an error in judgment right from the start. This was a case of mistaken identity when it comes to Jim Feaser and his Biologist. The best part is that there is PROOF that it wasn’t a bears head on the ground. Proof is something they never had.

It is obvious that PGC policy is to debunk unconditionally any unconventional or unacceptable to them question, answer or statement. The first immediate reply they have is something like. I'm a conservation officer and I've never seen one. To me that's not as convincing as a PA State Trooper saying he has driven in PA 30 years and has never hit a deer.
