I am hoping big time that there will be a Season Three of Finding Bigfoot. I love the show and am hooked on it. The ratings must be great so Animal Planet would be crazy NOT to pick it up for a third season.
If Finding BF does return for a third season, I hope they will travel to the area in Pennsylvania where the Jacobs' photo of a BF bending over was taken. I would also love for them to go to Snell Grove Lake in Canada and also to West Virginia which seems to be a hotbed of activity. |

There has been no 'official' announcement but I've heard it's been mentioned on some websites. When we have the legal, official nod, we'll be sure to announce it.

I'm all for another season. I know there are may opinions on what should happen. I'll keep that to the crew and producers except for the drooling graphic. That needs to change. To me it looks like a hairy Grandpa Homer Simpson. |

The question is will the cast be the same? In most TV series the cast gets shook up somehow.. Someone leaves for college (Happy Days), someone has a baby (Family Ties), someone's cousin takes over (3's Company), someone gets sent stateside (MASH) or my personal favorite, whenever Ted McGinley shows up (Love Boat, Happy Days, Married with Children, Dynasty....). Any cast change is a precurser to the Jump the Shark phenomenom so let's hope their is no cast change. "History shows again and again how Sasquatch points out the folly of Man". |

| I'm remembering when the original Star Trek was cancelled, but fan uproar brought it back. I have emailed the channel to say how much I like the show. It might make no difference what with electronic ratings counters or whatever, but I do what I can. I want another season. |

I heard Cliff Barackman on an internet radio interview last night, Feb. 22. He was talking about the tremendous track find in London, Oregon that he has personally casted 72 tracks from. He is almost 100% certain they are Sasquatch, due to each one being a little different and the flexibility of the toes, especially the small toe. Step length is between 42 to 53 inches. Two sets of tracks, at 17 inch and 14 inch, and over 130 of them I think. Anyway he is so anxious to analyse them, however he said they start filming season three next week and he will be busy with FB until June. This was from the horses mouth I have a tremendous interest in learning as much as I can about Bigfoot. I live in Darke County, Ohio, however I go to the Huron National Forest in Michigan several times a year. |

I listened to the first half of Cliff's interview an hour ago. He said that season three will also go on he thought about two international trips in season three and employee North American tactics that have never been used in where they will be going before. I personally hope one of there stops will be Australia and they hook up with the Yowie, and they make these episodes two hours long, like they did in the excellent Bluff Creek, Paterson/Gimlin episode last fall. I have a tremendous interest in learning as much as I can about Bigfoot. I live in Darke County, Ohio, however I go to the Huron National Forest in Michigan several times a year. |

alphadog: Interesting that Cliff is releasing this information. As of yet, there is no official press release from Animal Planet, and that's what we go by to not tread on any non disclosure agreement. Being privi to information does carry some responsibility.

Here is an official update with 'some' locations. No specific information will be released.
AP is starting to film season 3 this Sunday. They will be filming in the CA Sierras, Arizona and Oklahoma. At some point in time, during season 3, they will be going to Indonesia and Australia.

Write to the sponsors of the show---the guys who place the ads---and tell them you bought their product because you saw it on Finding Bigfoot.
Send an email to the network praising the show. [Don't think that some of the websites don't count "hits" as part of how they decide which shows to keep and which not. ]

| Do these guys have regular jobs? I mean I'm excited about season 3, but filming from late February until June would be tough on the day job. |

| Beth, I have thought the SAME exact thing. I have wondered how the investigators can film season after season of Finding Bigfoot if they have regular jobs. |
