Ironman season offically started today in Malaysia with Austrialia's Luke McKenzie and Belinda Granger taking the first Ironman wins of the year. McKenzie was near the front in the swim and bike and ran away from the competition during the marathon. Granger used her trademark strong bike leg to take the lead, which she would hold until the end.
