Posted March 14th, 2009 01:12 AM IP Three great runs into these shoes and I am drooling over their performance. I guess this is why they usually retail at $200 plus. They are the lightest feeling Brooks by far (although the spec sheet has them listed heavier than Adrenaline??), yet they have more than enough cushion to make them a great training shoe. I put them through two tough interval sessions on the tread mill (too afraid to get them muddy) and I felt like I was flying. Now I just had a chance to get them outside for a quick 10k and it turned out to be my quickest time on my regular 10k route by a large margin. My legs felt so fresh for the entire run and I was able to hold my form right up to the last kilometre. This after a killer spin on the bike at lunch and hills last night. It will be very hard to drop back down to lower level of Brooks (Adrenaline for me) the for my next pair of trainers. Hopefully the Brooks outlet or Running Room Clearance store have a few more pairs at half price! See you on the course!
