If anyone fancies venturing to Inners/GT during the day then I'm happy to drive and provide transport for 3 others.

I could also be involved in such a plan. Could do me + 2. I know technically +3 fits, but I didn't buy a van to have to take my wheels off ;-)

A bit of Gypo Glen or some Merida action would be cool. Count me in for both.

If the DHers are doing something like inners that could also work.

EDIT: OOH it's Italian too.

Where's the banter?!

It's all good.

If some XCers wanted a guide to do some more DH type sessioning then I'd be happy to lead a group. Romesh was loving the DH when he was out with me & stevo.

Hi guys, I know i'm not technically 'club' but can i get involved with the riding on the 7th? I've got petrol + cake money at the ready!

(so long as romesh promises to lift the mechanical jinx he seems to place on me when we ride in the same group...)

Would definitely be up for some DH if there's room. Can't make dinner though...
If you're not living on the edge then you're taking up too much room.

I've just remembered I might not have my van that weekend, though if I don't I'll have the golf or an audi instead, so it's not all bad. Will have less space for folk tho.

That Jinx is hopefully just on night rides! But we should probably co ordinate every other night ride, so we don't ride together"

Plan for XC ride is that I want to ride some sweet Tweed Valley singletrack and am offering a lift to three lucky others. So far two places are gone to Allan and Ezzi leaving one.

Iain may also have space but he hasn't confirmed how many at the moment. Current plan (weather dependent) is to head to Inners and do some of the Merida Singletrack plus the XC loop.

I like the blast along the road, do the descent through the open, cut down wood, switch back climb and descent, road climb before inners followed by the really sketchy descent through the trees (not in this years Merida), climb to the just below minch moor, descend, ride all the best bits around the black and done. Pie stop on the way down would be great too (hint hint).
Where's the banter?!

Iain and I are planning to go to Glentress on Saturday (as I'd just slow you all down on epic-borders-fun). There's space in the van for another person (don't expect epic fast awesome riding, I've not been out on my mtb much recently).

If anyone with a car wants to join us, that's fine too. There may be baked products...

Unfortunately I can't make the ride this Saturday I think I may have to talk to my boss about these Saturday shifts ... Super Saturday seems way more important than making money ...

Ruth, if you guys don't mind a newbie coming along and slowing you down I'm up for a bit of Glentress? Although I'll have to hire a bike-mine got nicked at the weekend.

Right, just sorted the route out for Inners ride, about 60km with 2km of climbing. Should take ~5 hours or so at an easy pace. Allan/Iain can you get to mine for 9ish? Ian I'll email you my address.

Still a space going if anyone else is interested.

Basically it's easiest to just create a new user, then we can delete the old one.
