This morning Amazon e-mailed to say that the book is on its merry way to me. Thus inspired, I decide to scout around for any other breaking Dr. F. news.
Check out his wikipedia bio. Of course, you should always take anything there with a grain of salt, but it says that Warner Bros. are gonna make a film of One Second After!
It also says that M. Night Shamylan (sp?) has optioned The Lost Regiment. (Where's that grain of salt when you really need it?)
And it mentions his ownership of a 1943 L3-B x-US Army observation plane. That must be the same type plane that the "LCDR Brinkley" character went up in in the movie "They Were Expendable" in order to look for his missing PT boat.
With his book coming out on the 17th this week, he might be doing some radio & TV interviews. If I hear about any, I'll post ASAP.
