Posted January 3rd, 2006 02:45 AM IP Someone said that it will ruin all the Rocky series(from 1 to 5)
Do you agree with the idea?
I donft know the reason why the person said so.
I don't think the film itself will not ruin the Rocky series.
However I think Stallone himself should not become a fighter anymore.
(It is too late to say so,becauuse the fight scene was already taken, and also,he doesnft matter about my opinion.)
When I heard the news of it,I thought Rockyfs son or pupil will fight.
Honestly speaking,he is too old to show off his body even though he has been working out.
He looked very young when he was the second half of his 30's or 40fs.(the time of the heyday of Rocky series.)
Unfortunately however since he put in the first half of his 50fs(since gCop Landh) he has suddenly aged.
I really love his previous body shape, especially he is the best in 3 and 4.
I am really impressed by his waist and hips in them.
It is his current looks (from gCop Landh to Rocky 6) which has ruined his nice and beautiful image (of Rocky series)

Posted January 4th, 2006 01:53 PM IP I really dont know. Personally, I thought Rocky V tarnished the series with its poor storyline and lack of any real fight action with Balboa (which made the films so great).
It will be good to see Rocky one more time but without like likes of Adrian, Mickey and even Apollo I just dont know if it wil work.

Posted January 5th, 2006 09:40 PM IP I really believe that Rocky should have fought in Rocky V.
He was not so old at that time.
His muscles was also elastic
( He was still 45 years old then, even though almost all people will become old considerably, if it becomes this age.)
I donft want to say but his muscles have already declined now.
However,it is natural if it is 59 years old.
Therefore, I did not want him to fight in Las Vegas.
He is too old to show off his upper body.
You will know what I mean if you see photos of Rocky ‡Y.

Posted March 9th, 2006 10:52 AM IP Actually, it's both IV and V that tarnished the series because IV is a ridiculous Hollywood movie. It is not of the Rocky ilk. The first 3 have edge and a purpose. IV does not. It's just a bunch of glitz and unrealistic bull****. Yeah, Rocky ends the Cold War by fighting this Russian. Give me a break. And the storyline in V is pathetic...generic. typical Hollywood b.s.

Posted March 19th, 2006 04:46 AM IP rocky 5 ruined the series obviously for the fact
we felt jipped that rocky never hot the ring again.
a stupid street fight was just a bad idea.
i would of prefered rocky versus gun
in the ring!
but back then they wanted to make a change
and not have be like the same old rocky movies.
bad idea for rocky belongs in the ring!
he also deserved to be a winner again
if he's gonna go out...

Posted April 3rd, 2006 03:06 PM IP well um. i had no problem with the street fight. i liked the streetfight cause, it finally made you see Rocky the way he was in the first movie. The point of Rocky V was to have it be like Rocky I, and have Rocky another bum in the neighborhood GET UP YOU SON OF A BITCH...'cause Micky loves ya!

Posted July 10th, 2006 11:06 PM IP I think the 5th ruined it, it didn't really make any sense. However the 6th looks really good, not corny at all like some people are saying it will be. Sly looks awesome being 60, but his face looks smaller to me for some reason, he doesn't look the same. But he is 60 now so..
