Posted June 3rd, 2006 08:31 PM IP I am very excited about this new "Rocky" movie. I have been a huge fan of Rocky since I was 3. I think this movie gives all of us who grew up in the 80's one more shot to experience something that touched all of our lives, and it gives younger generations a chance to see Rocky first hand in a theater. But, even though Rocky always wins at the end, do you think it will ruin this latest installment if a 58 year old beats a younger champ?

Posted June 4th, 2006 09:35 AM IP I dont think he'll win. I think it will sort of go back to a similar story to the first one where he proves to the world that despite all the odds he can take somebody all the way.
Or maybe he could be killed off? Could they kill Rocky?

Posted June 8th, 2006 01:01 PM IP Kill Rocky? If they made me wait 16 years just to kill Rocky, I am gonna be so pissed. Just like everyone else, I was not happy the way it ended in part 5, and I was excited to hear another movie was coming up. I think that this movie has to be good, because Stallone is being laughed at in every direction for making Rocky go back in the ring at 60. For that reason, this movie has to be good, there is no room for error in critics eyes. I think he should fight. If Foreman can make a come back so can Rocky. He should lose the fight by a split decesion. They sholdn't kill him though. He's Rocky.

Posted June 14th, 2006 03:47 PM IP Yeah think your probably right Vinny. I just think the critics will give this film bad ratings no matter how good it is just because of Stallone's age and the Rocky series being pretty much washed up now due to the dismal Rocky 5.
I cant see there being a Rocky 7 so this will probably finish off the franchise - hopefully on a good note.
