FBF Please let me add two things:

1...No two people are alike...unless they are twins but that is rare. It is common knowledge among habituators that sas come in all different sizes, shapes, and colors. Their facial features vary as do their temperments. Sounds familiar to us human beings. Doesn't it?

2...Am I wrong? I thought I read that a native tribe was recently discovered in South America...near the Amazon I believe. Would look up specifics but don't have the time right now. I realize that North America has much less land for a tribe to hide but at this point I PERSONALLY believe anything is possible. JMHO

Ammi Thank you FBF....

For anyone to say we all know what a BF looks like...is not true..no one has seen them all..
To believe that they are all just he typical huge dark coneheads, is a limted view on these wonderful things... like saying all dogs look like St. Bernards, because it is all you have heard of..and overlooking the chihuaua and poodle....

Quite a variety in many things, including humans...from NBA stars...to horse jockeys..to sumu wrestlers... all different shapes sizes and colors...

And yet..some refuse to believe BF could have the same varience? Hmmmmm

Well, they do.... sorry if anyone missed that on the discovery channel, or in some report..lol

Nope, my dogs are not in these... nor do I have bear... mangy or otherwise...

I will continue to post and let you know what happens here...
I have no "supposed" people here from BFRO, or other places..they are very real...
Thermal has not been used yet..I believe I said that was coming?.... so how could anything be withheld from that?

dtallman mudzillaefi, I haven't seen much in the photos that are definitive, but I have seen some things that are. As far as I am concerned, I am not looking at these as positive proof that there are BF in them or not. I enjoy looking at the pictures to see if I do see something. I do get very excited over some of them, especially the last one on page 7. Do I believe it is a bigfoot, maybe-maybe not. I respect your opinion and I can relate to your frustration. Sometimes I strain my eyes out to see what others see. If I can't see it, I move on and wait for another one. Just try to enjoy the pictures and if you don't see anything, you can laugh at those of us who do--silently of course.

The reason that I read this thread is for info like this. Personally I would not have guessed that they could vary that much in appearence, but I'll take Ammi's word for it.

I don't need pictures to prove to me that BF exists, I just want to know more about them. Eventually someone or some organization is going to present something conclusive, until then I'll just continue to try and learn little things here and there.

Ammi I am not trying to say these pics are proof... they are just pics of what I have here...
They hide and stay behind stuff.... The "golfball size heads...are because I am zooming in to get a shot over 40 - 50 yards, and where it may look like they are next to a tree to compare..that tree may be 10 ft in front of them, between me and them....
yes..by all means..take some pics around your own places... and see if you can get the depth of that kind of shot, to look like what is normal in your eyes...
That may help you to understand what is is like to try for these shots....

I ain't even touching the "cry wolf" thing... I see that as an attempt to discredit my honesty... a sorry one at that... considering the previous words that try to make it seem I am fabricating the people who have been here..and frankly..an insult to them.. as some have posted on here also... but I am not angered either... I just feel sorry for people who have to dig for untruths..to support a point.... reminds me of political bashing...lol
I do realize there have been many hoaxes... I am not one..sorry if one of them burned anyone so bad, they can no longer accept truth... but I refuse to take that on my shoulders, as my problem... it belongs to the bearer....thay will have to deal with it.... lol

Again... I also do not claim to be a part of BFRO, or any group... so this is not being "sponsered", "blindly believed", or "put out there", by any group... despite other forums having members claiming those things...to try to discredit other groups...
Petty squabbling has no place in my heart or mind.

Nor does trying to make any kind of profit from anything about them.... I have asked for nothing here...
Anyone who has contributed items to this, have also been allowed in, to observe, and know those items are being used, to further this study.... and nothing more.

I realise that people can only think in the terms of thier own mind... if someone only sees a possibility to make money here..they will only think of how I am trying to do so.... can't understand..I have no interest in that...
I have no interest in that....ever.

I want to study them..learn as much as I can, and share it with the BF community only.... Any "hard evidence" collected here..will go to people in the circles who study and anylize those things..I do not have the ability, or desire to do that...
They will also retain those samples and knowledge to use for furthering research on them. I imagine one day, when they have collected enough solid stuff, from me..and others like me..they will go public with it...

I have made my only stipulation to collecting here, that my name and location be left out of it... So how is that me trying to claim any kind of fame or profit?
To say "No one would do that".... is to not know me... or my reasons... and shows me that you would..... but it does not take anything away from my study project here.

I have never claimed to be "seeing BF, and trying to take a pic". I have repeatedly said that most shots I get, are done sneaky, and over the shoulder... they peep out, when you turn your back... I have learned that, and take advantage of it....
But I can not focus on something I hear... and don't see.

I do see many things in the shots... but there is a reason why I don't ALWAYS claim so... so I don't influence what others do or do not see...
I have done some lines and circles myself, and explained what I saw.. when asked..on several shots...
To say I haven't, is that someone isn't reading past posts...or they are selectivly ignoring those posts..to prove a point... that they want to believe....

To say I see "what I want" .... is not true. I discard many photos, and did a whole pic and post ...to prove and show just that....

I don't let opposition, stated politely anger me..it is healthy.... and a needed thing in life...
But i do pay alot of attention to detail..in words..and in my woods...lol

So why do you suppose this is? If there really was some solid evidence why wouldn't someone or some organization want to "go public"? Could it be that the "solid" evidence would be easily discredited? Or would this person or organization want to wait until they had built up a "BF encyclopedia" so to speak and try and become THE authority on the subject with its release?

Just curious?
December 31st, 2007 08:11 PM
Ammi If you were doing serious research..you would wait to get not just one pic, hair sample, or print... etc..but many, and from different sources, to compare, and present your findings as a whole study... I have never heard of any study being put out piece by piece..as it goes...

Except mine..and I am doing this to share the process... most do not do that.
December 31st, 2007 08:18 PM
Ammi This is the next shot I took.... about the count of 5 later... (that is what I do..click...count 5...click... I get movement like that...and if I don't..I consider it follage / or "shapes in clouds"...like everyone else... ) That idea is not lost on my brain..lol

I have posted this..because..yes..I DO SEE A FIGURE .... same color as the background...in the first, but not in the second.. ( or 3rd, - 5th) shots I took in sucession...count of 5 between...

I did not use a flash.... wish I would have now...

FBF Some people may just want to leave them alone. There ARE people in this country who have "solid evidence"....they have relationships with these creatures and want them left unmolested. "If" they are here, they have been here all along and seem to be doing just fine without our help. Why change what works?

Again, JMHO
FBF:)

(I am not even going to get into how the government would "help" them...that may already be a thread...I haven't read them all here.)

I honestly hadn't planned on posting anything but the one pic but I can't help but jump in on some of this.

OMT...Many of you have asked about my story. Here is what has been posted publicly on another forum. It is in need of an update though!

Glad someone took up on that $80.00 deal...heh heh

I will wait for about a half hour...to give time for that...

I can post some in my image gallery if you need the space. The only pic I have in there now shows my unsuccessful attempt to undo the crops on one of your recent pics:

marpop Again, I want to thank Ammi for being so generous with all of us.She is not only putting a great effort into her own daily work and observations with BF, but it also takes an enormous amount of her time to post her pictures and observations for us to share.I can only imagine how much time she is putting into all of this because I know all the time I am putting in to it just following it all and I am working fulltime and living my regular life!
Some of the BF's(in the pictures) pop out at me in an instant, some take awhile, some I never see.It took me years to get a good shot of a harbor seal 20 feet in front of the boat. They just kept ducking back under the water as soon I my camera clicked!Proof is different for everyone.I would love to see the perfect picture, but maybe not on this forum.I do not want the world to have a perfect shot. What happens then?I did go on a BFRO expedition and before I went, I spoke with a BFRO investigator on the phone for quite awhile. She said proof is different for everyone. After that expedition, I knew exactly what she meant.
Thanks again, Ammi and everyone else on this board.I look forward to reading it every evening!I am getting ready to take a long vacation no where near a computer and I am quite anxious about what I may miss!

Ammi LOL...Ok eddie... the kitties....
I had 3 cats..2 grown..1 kitten....
They roamed around my yard, and barn...and kept my mice down...
They avoided my dogs..that were agressive..with great skill...and played with some of the other dogs here...
They also would go into the woods, and stay for days at a time..and I think the BF liked them as well, as they never came back hurt, or even hungry.

One day, one of my agressive dogs, caught up with one of them in the yard, and before I could get to them, he had killed the cat..by shaking it.
I was very upset..and yelled at the dog..and ran it out of my yard.... in anger.
I picked up the kitty, and took it and buried it.
The next day, I found that same dog, dead near my back steps.... broken neck.
That was the first dog I lost.
I buried that dog, next to the kitty....

The other 2 kitties were gone the day after that.... have not been back.
They were here the day after the other kitty got killed... as normal.... next day..dog shows up dead..other kitties gone... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I can not say it was BF...because I did not see it... but it does seem like it to me...
I don't think they killed my kitties... I think they took them away from here.
I do think they killed my dog....
But I didn't put all of this together, until the other 2 dogs were killed.
Yes, they happened to be the only other dogs that ever chased the cats...

All speculation....but I have my theories...

I don't have anymore kitties now... and someone gave me a big dog, who is aggressive, but is still young.... and very lovable... and I keep him tied...
He is the only dog tied in my yard..and I hate to tie a dog up... or pen one...
The rest run free here.

I do have a border collie mix female..that worry about.... as she shows small animal aggression too....

But she seems to back off of any threat when she has been out in the woods with us, and is one of the first to leave an area,.... so I hope she will be fine here.

My Coyote / dog... is the gentlest with other animals... he showed up here about a year ago..wild..and it took us a month, and him being injured, for us to get close enough to tame him..but he is just a baby here now.... He is the large white dog you may have seen in one pic.
He howls like a coyote..and his bark is annoying enough with it's high pitch, to hurt your ears....

I have a pitt/ boxer mix... who comes along with us..and is the main one to try to keep us out of areas, at times...
He is not agressive, except to first time strangers, and other large dogs...who are not mine. He will play with pups... and him and the coyote dog have issues that never end..lol.. but they don't fight.

He seems to be "in a trance" at times, in the woods... and I never know why..but will take pics where ever he gets "frozen"..or any of them... usually it is him or a pup that gets that...
