Eric Squatcher My 10 year old son is on a Tween discussion board, and has just posted his first Thread. I showed him one of my threads on here, and then showed him the Share One pg#3 and saw the latest reply from W****, and I said to my son "His time on this board is almost up" and he asked me what I meant, and I told him that He wasn't playing nice. HeHe! Anyhow- I had faith that Bossburg would take care of it soon enough. Thanks Bossman! ;)

Eric Squatcher Does anyone else notice the Eyeshine in this one from the baby on the right?

I love how the fingers are visible on this one:

OK, I'm done now. LOL

Southman Yo, Eric!

I wasn't sure about the avaiability of these two pics. Just wanted new members to be aware of them. Sort of a foil to W****, and that sort of extreme negativity.

Happy New Year!

LouBob Ammi - if you're up, check your e-mail. Thanks!

BeeBee I forget how good some of the pics are when I don't see them everyday. Have we ever discussed the size of the one on the roof/wall thingy? I'd love to have some scale on that guy.

Bossburg A busy day - cheddarDog has been disabled. Judging by his posts he was Wapiti's twin. Thanks to those who let me know.

Stickwatcher CheddarDog, your comment "God forbid someone disagrees" is overstating the situation. I've followed this discussion through three thread lengths, about 40+ pages and I haven't always seen what others see, but I have recognized what Ammi has been up against in taking the photos and I respect her and the others who are posting here in good faith. W**** was putting down others because he didn't see what they saw. He was sure he was right and that others explanations were wrong. That violates the spirit of the forums, which is to share and debate but not to become antagonistic and set oneself up as an arbitor of truth. He was also unregistered, which is contrary to the rules of the forum. No one has to follow a thread, no one has to see what others see, and if someone is out of sync with those who are enjoying the pics, why not just go follow another thread?

BeeBee For those who haven't tried it, I got a big magnifying glass this week and it's amazing how it helps on the pics. It brings out things I never saw before and the lightened picture on the previous page, on the fence, is way more incredible in detail with the magnifying.

AmandaJean Bossburg, thanks much. Discussion going on here is great about BF, and just think it's free! For someone to benefit from something that's free and at another's expense and then complain about the quality of pictures that someone is kind enough to take and then post to the forum is like looking a gift horse in the mouth. I don't always see what others see in pictures, but I always keep in mind that there are many variables out there when it comes to equipment and software. Not only that, creatures in the wild are extremely difficult to get a picture of. That's just common sense and others have explained that wonderfully. If I can't tweek a picture in a way that I can see it - I just figure maybe I'll have better luck next time. These pictures are so difficult to take and I really appreciate the ones posted here.

padams Yes, thank you Bossburg. We get enough hassle from the "outsiders" ;) without getting it from our brothers and sisters in arms. I really appreciate all the work you admins do.

interesting thing, 6 year old was just looking at these pictures with me and HE could pick out the BF IMMEDIATLY in EVERY picture, including the latest with the nest....which took me all sorts of enhancements and drawings and such. Maybe the eyes of innocence? He thinks that maybe he was born to see "bigfoots" :D

mudzillaefi Tisk Tisk Wapiti, Look up tak in the dicitonary. Even though I don't see what some do, i am still look. My wife came in a while ago and I was looking at the lastest pic, I had my head tilted to one side looking at it from a different angle. She called me a nut for BF. I guess I have to agree. Keep gettin the pics Ammi, maybe I can convince my very skeptical wife that BF is truly real and not something we all made up to have a methos to our madness. I would like to pose a question to everyone here however on the ability of some pople to have mulitple supposed encounters, and the inability of others. Not trying to question integrity, just open up another discussion with both sides opinions voiced. (new post)

In regards to the pictures...

If they were being presented as "proof" then they offer none, none at all, not even close to anything remotely. I think that some people are thinking that Ammi is posting these pictures to prove that a group of BF is living around her house. That's not the case at all, she is just posting them to share with the message board members here. If she snaps an interesting picture for the message board, great, if not that's okay too.

If all we had were her word and these pictures that there were BF living around her place then it would be more difficult to believe. But when other people are invited to her house and they see and hear things then that's a huge help IMHO in verifying that something is happening there.

We had a couple of people come into the thread and trash the pictures as they thought they were being presented as proof. Just a misunderstand and a lack of "tact" with their choice of words and they were "unregistered". Ammi will share what she wants to. If someday she shares a really good photo, great, if not it's her decision. The really promising thing is the research that Ammi and others are doing there...that will yield much more in the long run.

mudzillaefi I would like to ask anyone who feels as I do, why it is that some people have multiple encounters with BF while others who spend hours in the field looking have very very few, or none at all? Yet both still believe?! My first memory was a movie which scared yet intrigued me so much i starved for any and all info on this subject ever since. I had a class B encounter since then and have since had my radar out for anything suspicious. I consider myself a woodsman and spend at least 50% of my time in the outdoors. But, I find that I don't see, hear, smell or otherwise come in contact with any Squatch evidence whereas others submit they have on a daily basis. I guess what i am saying here is, the people who claim to have daily contact and or interaction, report info that is contradictory to every known premise of BF research that I personally came to study and believe? Nocturnalism, solitary lifestyle, avoidance of man, flight before fight reactions, covering tracks, avoiding ,man at all costs? If all the BF congragate like some say in family groups and social settings, then why aren't they being seen by others in the areas they are being seen in with road crossings, night time visits, trackways, and other sorts of close contact? Ammi's threads aren't the only one presenting this type of interaction, there have been others. Albert Ostman's encounter with the family group, the Ape canyon incident.

dtallman mudzillaefi, great question. I wondered that myself. I have not been one to go looking for a BF, but most of my childhood was spent in the woods and I never saw or heard anything. My humble opinion is that there a pockets of BF spread out across the U.S. (world) and one has to be in the right place at the right time. It sounds as if you have definitely put in the time and effort and I really hope you hit the jackpot soon. There was a report on a white bigfoot sighting in the Kelso, Tn. area just a few miles from where I live. Everytime I go through the area, I am on the look out for him/her. I would love to see a BF, but I don't think I ever will. The fact that I haven't seen one doesn't hamper my curiosity at all. I have talked to plenty of people who have seen one, including my uncle. Their reports and what I read on this forum and on bfro are all the proof I need. Good Luck in your adventures and keep up the faith!

padams My feelings are that some areas will support larger groups than others. I think that Ammi's area pictures show a very messy tangle where a large group could stay together without worrying about being found easily. here in arizona, only 2-3 could group because our growth is more sparse, even in the mountains. in the lower elevations, they must be solitary most of the time to stay hidden. in kayakbuilder's area, which i lived in for a while, it is not as dense as Ammi's, but would still support a group rather than individuals. I really think the terrain is the key.

It is very frustrating to work so hard and not ever see one. and then to read about people who have them living in their backyards! I am so happy and jealous at the same time. I truly hope, Mudzilla, that your hard work does not go unrewarded. you have so much knowledge, which is evident in your posts!

FBF I thought I would share a pic...for the benefit of the lurkers like "what's-his-name". Many, many people across the country and around the world have similiar pics...they just don't want attention brought on to themselves, their locations or their "friends". Many just want to provide a sanctuary and aren't concerned with proving anything.

It's because know-it-all skeptics don't WANT to see that they don't. If you can't see what you are looking at try this magnifier. I use it and it's great...and free to boot!

This is another free program that lets you zoom in REALLY TIGHT without pixellation. I use this first and then the magnifier:

Ammi, these are the programs I told you about...they should definately help!

(I am new to this forum and assume it's ok to post helpful links here...I read the "Before you post" thread. For the viewers of Ammi's threads, these should help greatly!)

Ammi, as I stated before...great work and STAY SAFE!

FBF :)
