Rimrock Yes I agree about the Hoffman video.....Looks very good, but to lump Sasquatch in with a search for Santa Claus removes all credibility. Makes one think the two are both fairy tales.

Rimrock It does a disservice to those who are seriously studying sasquatch. I can see the Enquirer headline now..... "Bigfoot is Santa Claus without Red Suit"

No rimrock, it just says that that particular Video is BS in my opinion & how the Videographer could think any different when he associate themself with a Website called that is impossible as he knows full well it's BS & anyone with half a brain would figure that out..

1 ) PGF by a million miles.

2 ) Marble Mountain

3 ) Don Young in WI

sflack I tried in vane to find this video again on youtube but no matter what I searched I couldn't find it. Has anyone seen the video of a kid riding his atv and off in the distance across a meadow what looks like to be a bipedal creature move from behind some cover, I think a pine tree all by itself, and walk into the treeline? Also the video of a couple of kids walking through the woods in Minnesota, I believe, is intriging also. It shows a massive figure next to a tree move off into the brush for a fleeting moment. These are a couple that have piqued my interest besides the usual suspects. Maybe they have been debunked before on this site and I'm just behind the ball. Let me know.

Very similar gait, and the conditions plus the fear in the voice of the kids makes this seem very legit. If you were going to fake, why at that distance in those conditions? This one really sticks out in my memory, as far as video of a specimen (the Bigfoot den one is pretty amazing, but no animal in that one :) ).

I had not been aware of this one or seen it until just now. WOW! You get a very quick glimpse of whatever it is that the kids are seeing. It looks a lot like "Patty" for that split instant. You see a powerfully built creature clearly on two legs. Stride seems to be close to "Patty" as well. Then there is that moment where it is acting like it is trying to use the Trees as a shield. That is well known and documented behavior. The reaction of the kids seems pretty authentic as well.

On the whole I will rate it as a highly probable and one of the very few I have ever seen on youtube that actually seems legit.

S.O. Bigfoothunter Oh...and I should add;

I do believe that the PGF is the real deal. It is the best piece of film ever because there is absolutely no doubting what it is.

The Director of the US Fish and Wildlife Forensics Lab in Ashland, Oregon is a skeptic. He says he would not believe in Bigfoot until a body, or a live one is presented to Science. But even he admits that the PGF leaves him searching for an explanation. He admits that it is not a guy in a Monkey Suit. He says that and the Skookum Cast are the two most compelling things that he has ever seen to suggest that Bigfoot may indeed be real.

lost hiker I believe that the kids in the video seem believable. Was there ever a follow up or story? That snow should have left some killer prints if it was real.

Rimrock There are several compilations of stills on youtube that contain very interesting pics. Of course there are many obvious and laughable hoaxes there too, but a couple caught my eye as the real deal.....one in particular looks exactly like what I saw. Search for "Sasquatch Pictures" posted by Silverfeather721, stop it at 1:32 ....still makes my heart race!
I watched him for over 10 minutes through a rifle scope thinking it was an elk approaching me. Notice the coloring matches an elk almost exactly. That was when I said, "Holy ****, that thing has hands. I'll never forget that day.

Rimrock Also on youtube is "Bigfoot Pictures" posted by "MADH1LAND3R" check :40-:45 and tell me that does not look like Patty: Arm length? Gait? Musculature? Feet? Off the charts size? I know these aren't videos, but these pics speak volumes.

Rimrock Greetings sflack,

Rimrock, could you provide a link to this?

Rimrock Hi Southern Oregon,

Check your email. I just sent it there.

Chuck_Shutters My favorite is probably the memorial day footage. If anyone has "Sasquatch legend meets science" can you do me a favor and examine this footage. because I swear right after the creature jumps the creek the baby squatch on it's back almost falls off. you can see that right after the creature lands the baby's head and what appears to be right arm become visible for 1 or 2 frames. If you watch it on the zoom and slowed it is approximately 2 or 3 frames after the leap. This has been driving me crazy so if someone can please look into this for me I would really appreciate it.

ropera What ever came of the footage caught on trail cam by the bow hunting guide? It caused a big stir when it was released and then I haven't heard anything more about it. Was it proven to be a fake?

mpraymond THE PATTERSON FOOTAGE IS THE BEST VISUAL EVIDENCE WE HAVE AT THIS POINT!

The two men connected with the film did not have the means to produce that level of a hoax even if they wanted too. In today's world of advance film production techniques that film's creature cannot be duplicated.

Also the film site is in bright sunshine and clear.

The film's subject is seen from almost every possible angle(including bottom of feet)

Uninterrupted muscle movement and the filmed creature's massive size, arm length, short neck, individual finger movement(indicating functioning hands and not extensions)

The famous look back glance of a creature, somewhat irritated but not panicked......an animal just wanting to leave the area that man has now entered.

THERE IS A REASON THAT AFTER OVER 40 YEARS OF SCRUTINY THIS PIECE OF FILM HAS NOT BEEN DEBUNKED....IT IS BECAUSE IT IS REAL FOOTAGE OF A UN-DOCUMENTED SPECIES!

I so agree with the above post. Well said.

If anyone does a quick search on you-tube and sees the released digital enhancements & zooming done on segments of the P/G film. With todays advanced technology you can clearly see the massive leg muscles of patty flexing all the way down her leg, from her quads to her calve muscles when all of that huge weight is transferred in stride as her foot steps over a log.

There is no way in hell any costume, even today let alone in 1967,can replicate that much mass muscle detail in stride, at that rate of speed, in that terrain, at that height and mass index.

No way. I was was impressed with the digitalized enhancements i showed some skeptical but also "open" family members and they were quite amazed.

kelly3119 The P/G footage by a mile.

Let me qualify, however. I have the "Legend Meets Science" DVD, and I have viewed the Freeman footage numerous times. You can view the segments individually, and it gives me chills everytime I watch it. I know Freeman had a reputation, and the footage isn't of the greatest quality, but I don't see how you can fake the sheer size of the creature in the video. Additionally, the motions of the creature are so fluid and natural, especially as it moves out of the brush, glances at the cameraman, and then moves off further into the brush. This creature is HUGE, it would take a masterful effort to fake the size and bulk of this creature.

ravellette Can you actually see where it picks up a little one too?

joeecuva I also love the NW 911 call but I often wonder why there has never been an interview or anything? An interview with him would be great. Does anyone have more info on the gentlemen?

Jake Levi The Patterson/Gimli film is by far the best, for the main reason tht it is in 16mm, and far more detailed in the images then any video camera can do. Its the oldest and the best.

I have been beating the drum on verious posts for folks to look into used 16mm cameras if they want to get good believeable footage. They appear to start around $400 and go into the thousands but good older ones are available for $400-500. Check Ebay and Craigs List. Its what I want.

The video cameras are popular, but other then home picnics and parties they are very inadequate for distances and fine details. Thats just the nature of the machines.
8mm is much cheaper, but, its also a cheaper image, as blurry at distance as video. Worse in many cases. If, we are going to get good, believable film footage of BF its going to be on 16mm. Anything less and we are only fooling ourselves.

After the P/G film I also go with the Memorial Day and Freeman footage.

My personal favorite of the programs is the 'Legends Meets Saqsquatch' one.

Mufasa The Memorial day footage is a scam. If you listen to the audio just before the video, they are talking about faking it and joking around.
April 3rd, 2009 07:22 PM
Chuck_Shutters Mufasa,

Where can I hear the audio before the video? I am quite convinced with the memorial day footage, so if it is a hoax I would love the proof.

nubirthgod a couple years ago, i ran across a clip on youtube from argentina or some other south american country, forgot which. anyway, it plainly showed a sasquatch that the locals had been encountering. they went and looked for it with a video and spooked it out of some brush and this thing SPEED across a field into some trees, and this was at close range, maybe 20 yards away from this creature. it was tall and lanky, not one of the thick muscular ones. you can tell the video was unaltered because you could see people in the footage moving at their normal speed, while this thing flew across the screen from right to left. you CANNOT find this clip anymore, i sincerely believe the government had this clip removed. its harder for them to censor clips from other countries as fast as stuff here.
