annie Beak - 'fraid not. But like I said before, it was a very trustworthy person who told me (not official or a member of my family I might add ;))

Geordie - this is very true. Will be an interesting run of games to the end of the season in the AP. Have to say, my money is still on Leeds though. From the games I've watched this season, they are an awful team. Newcastle are rubbish but not, IMO, quite as dire as Leeds are. Shame, as I'm bored of the Leeds yo-yo. At the other end of the spectrum, looks like a hard fought battle between London Scottish and Barking to close the season. Personally, would prefer LS because I've heard very good things about their set up and would like to see it 1st hand.

peterc A fly half who tackles, takes contact and kicks good clearing lines - now that I can't wait to see :)

bp Re Sione
I refer to my earlier post
April 6th, 2011 11:09 AM
geordie Annie--I hope it is Leeds (as my name implies) although I do not relish the return of the oafish attitudes shown by their players and some of their spectators sitting next to me at our last encounter at ML.
April 6th, 2011 02:12 PM
beak Wonder who this other imminent signing is?
April 6th, 2011 04:23 PM
Te Ao Hou Great news about Socino, but are we sure he isn't going to be called up to the Argentine squad for the World Cup? That would be a double whammy if both 10's are trotting off down under.

As I've said before, the 'rumour' season is great fun, let's enjoy the ride! You never know, Ali may be back?
April 6th, 2011 04:24 PM
annie Geordie - must be a weird Yorkshire Thing!
April 6th, 2011 07:58 PM
M2OGGTYFC I have a feeling that an announcement about Duffey is imminent. Given some stuff I've heard from Tigers end plus also the announcement that news on signings will be coming shortly I just have a feeling that something will be said soon ;)
Geordie - I believe you and I are from the same part of the world :) and I'm very worried about the Falcons however they've been raided for players again and I think if they do survive this season next season they may not be so lucky...

beak It's Sione!!!

Great news we have him for another year!

April 7th, 2011 02:47 AM
Justin Brilliant news!!!!
April 7th, 2011 04:09 AM
annie Interesting.
April 7th, 2011 04:11 AM
bp Brilliant news. His agent must like us!!!!
April 7th, 2011 04:38 AM
David Bowden Good for Sione and the club - he needs more development time at our level. I hope we get some second rows announced next.
April 7th, 2011 05:10 AM
Justin I'm glad you used the plural David as that is one area we are seriously lacking and could do with more than one. Here's hoping they keep drip feeding us the good news about new signings, re-signings and those who are "coming back" :D
April 7th, 2011 05:27 AM
annie Always a good shout drip feeding squad info when you want people to buy season tickets ;)
April 7th, 2011 06:51 AM
David Bowden They are looking like a good bet too, that extra cup game referred to by another poster helps. But mostly the way the squad is shaping up it looks like we will not want to miss a game next season.
April 7th, 2011 11:22 AM
glenbott Ace! Vital re-signing that.
April 7th, 2011 04:18 PM
Kirky Fantastic news! He's still developing in to a real Premiership No.8- his development under Glenn's astute coaching will mirror our overall development into a fully fledged Premiership side.
This is what we can offer now- not just a staging post to Premiership Rugby, but part of it!!
April 7th, 2011 05:07 PM
mstaples Nobody else spot the announcement in the news story on season tickets: http://www.nottinghamrugby.co.uk/News-and-Events/NR/2011-2012-Season-Ticket-Packages-and-Membership/2011-03-18

" Glenn has already started to strengthen the squad and we are delighted that Matt Parr will once again be wearing the green and white"

Oh, wait a minute. Just realised this was an old announcement. I don't know - I can't keep up with all of this activity and rumour!

trueblue These signings are great news for next season. If this a sign that the new owner is backing the club, then this is to be welcomed.
April 8th, 2011 10:05 AM
annie Have I missed the announcement about Andy Savage referred to in the most recent website article?
April 8th, 2011 10:22 AM
M2OGGTYFC I think it was a little while ago... I remember seeing it somewhere but cant remember where. Will have a look and see if I can find out when it was.
April 8th, 2011 10:26 AM
Retired winger If you have Annie so have I. I cannot remember anything on the Webb site or in the EP. Perhaps he is not considered an important enough member of the team. Strange as he has just had his best season for the club scoring 8 tries just one behind the legendary Jacko. And the tenth highest try scorer in the championship.
April 8th, 2011 10:28 AM
M2OGGTYFC Ok am I imagining things??? Am certain I read it somewhere. Have googled and gone through the news on the front page and cant find it...
April 8th, 2011 11:12 AM
beak One player who won't be joining us is Matt Corker as he has resigned for Welsh! Shame would have boosted out second row! Have to pin our hopes on Rousey and A-nother!
April 13th, 2011 11:37 AM
beak Wonder who the "massive" new signing is tomorrow......
April 14th, 2011 02:17 AM
beak Its Rousey! Awesome news!
April 14th, 2011 02:45 AM
annie No surprises there then! Great stuff.
April 14th, 2011 03:08 AM
bp Brilliant news. All good signings so far, but I think this is the biggest.
One more lock please Glenn
