BRUSSELS EKIDEN ROAD RELAY
Fife AC internationalist Andrew Lemoncello helped Scotland to third team place at the Brussels Ekiden Road Relay - a six-stage race held over the 26.2 mile marathon distance.
Lemoncello took over in 3rd place to run the final 7.2km leg maintaining Scotland's position in third behind a Nike Select team and Ireland. Forty-four teams completed the race.

FURTHER RESULTS from the Central & South of Scotland Track & Field League at Grangemouth.
Under 17 Men: Long Jump 1st Garry Brown 5.29m. 100m 4th Brown 12.4; Under 15 girls. Holly Stephens - long jump (3.87m) 1OOm (15.40); Under 13 Boys: Thabo Muzamamhindo - Shot Putt (4.9 1m), long jump (3.29m); Under 13 girls: Lucy Duff 1OOm 3rd (16.4), 800m 2nd (3:00.04), Long Jump (2.79m); Under 11 girls: Rebecca Robb 80m 3rd (12.80), Long Jump 3rd (3.03m).

CLACHNABEN HILL RACE
Louise Burt, St.Andrews, contested the third race in the Scottish Hill Runners Championship - the Clachnaben Race at South Deeside. Louise finished a splendid fourth in the womens race, first veteran clocking 1 hour 51 minutes 01 seconds over the 10.5 mile (3500ft) course.

SCOTTISH PRIMARY SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS, KIRKCALDY.
Cupar under 11 athlete Sarah Kelly was in gold medal winning form at the Scottish Primary Schools Cross Country Championships at Kirkcaldy High School claiming the Primary 7 girls (Schools A-K) title. With the ever increasing numbers, over 1600 last Saturday, the primary 6 and primary 7 age groups are divided into two races for each age group with schools divided into
the first and second halves of the alphabet. Sarah ran away with the A-K title clocking 7 minutes 42 seconds over the 1.25 mile course representing Castlehill Primary. E.Hargreaves (Dollar Academy) followed in 7.52 with E.Duncan (Anderson's) in 3rd -
7.53. Castlehill placed 17th team overall.

ST. ANDREWS 5K
A record field of 155 runners contested the St.Andrews 5km from the University Sports Centre. Under 20 athlete Quentin Reeve led home a Fife clean-sweep of the top three placings in 16 minutes 06 seconds with Chris Russell 2nd (16.08) and Hugh McKay 3rd, first veteran (16.13).
World Indoor Championship 1500m athlete Hayley Ovens (Edinburgh Southern H.) placed 16th overall, first woman in 17 minutes 43 seconds while Fife junior Jennifer Kibble had an outstanding run to finish 41st overall, fourth female in 19 minutes 27 seconds.
No less than 43 members of Jocelyn Scott's women joggers completed the race with Lucy Bradley in 110th taking the special 'first joggers prize'. For Balmullo runner Jennifer Kibble the StAndrews result capped a week of success having placed a magnificent 16th, second Scot at the London Mini Marathon County Race (13-14 girls). Jennifer was timed at 16 minutes 25 seconds with Rachel Pounds (Greater Manchester) the winner in 15 minutes 45 seconds.

HUNTERS BOG TROT
Quentin Reeve was back in action at the Hunters Bog Trot, a 4 mile (800ft) race over Salisbury Crags, Edinburgh. Reeve placed 7th overall, first junior in 31 minutes 04 seconds followed by Andrew Evans 30th, second junior (35.53).
Jennifer Kibble in 56th (39.59) placed 5th female, first female junior.

TRACK & FIELD RESULTS
Under 20 athlete Chris Baily represented north London club Shaftesbury Barnet in the National Junior League at Hendon, with marks of 11.3 seconds over 100m and a 6.40m long jump.
Over at Caird Park, Dundee under 17 athlete Andrew Kinnear posted a personal best of 6.01m to win the long jump competition as well as winning the high jump with 1.71m

LONDON MARATHON
Jim Haig was the clubs first runner home at the London Marathon 5,411th (3:35.06) followed by Alf Tupperware 5,966th (3:38.16). Over 65 veteran John McNally, by Cupar, placed 10,685th in the fine time of 3 hours 59 minutes 57 seconds. Bob Allison and Grant Laycock both finished well up the massive field - Grant clocked 3 hours 40 minutes 58 seconds to place 5,688th while Bob was timed at 3 hours 48 minutes 50 seconds in 7,163rd place. Kirkcaldy member Johanna Paananen finished 10,591st clocking 3 hours 57 minutes 56 seconds. The previous week Bob completed the Speyside Way 50km Trail Race (31.25 miles) placing 34th in 4 hours 39 minutes 16 seconds out of 94 finishers.
