Hello, everyone!

Besides the work involved in merging my site -- including moving the files, changing the structure, fixing links, and slowly replacing my towson.edu email address with my yahoo address -- I've been working on a benchmark for a CAS performance and functionality comparison between the HP49G+ and the TI-68k. It is still in draft form, but at this point I consider the first version pretty much complete besides the actual filling in of performance timings, which I hope to finish in a couple of weeks. A thorough analysis and summary of the timings will probably need quite a bit of work, so I'm planning to delay that until version 2 of the benchmark. At that point, the examples should become pretty stable also, so I should be able to assign labels such as C.1.5 to them for easy reference.

The benchmark has been my primary project (in the limited time I have these days), but I've also started working on a document outlining gaps in TI-68k software for various application areas such as biology, finance, physics, and robotics. This work is still ongoing, but I should be ready to post a *very* rough draft in a few weeks. In a way, it's the anti-MPL (yeah, I plan to resume work on the MPL soon).

Again, welcome, and please post any suggestions you may have for improvements.
